Basic Requirement before taking NEET PG


For Neet PG 2012-2013 Test  from November 23rd to December 6th 2012:
Eligibility criteria : All applicant candidates are required to produce their original certificate of provisional /permanent registration with the State Medical Council (SMC)/ Medical Council of India (MCI) at the test centre before appearing in the NEET-PG (on the date of their scheduled test day).
This is in addition to the production of an original and Valid ID(any one)  as
-PAN CARD
-Voters Regn. ID Card
-Aadhar Card
-Passport
-Driving License
 Also,Candidates are required to bring the original SMC/MCI certificate along with a clear photocopy of the same.
This photocopy shall be retained at the test centre after verifying the original certificate.
 Candidates who do not produce their provisional /permanent registration certificate with SMC/MCI will not be allowed to appear in the NEET-PG under any circumstances.
In case the certificate of provisional registration has been deposited with the MCI/SMC, an acknowledgement/receipt of the same with photocopy of certificate is required to be produced.
Candidates who have incorrectly filled in their status of registration with the State Medical Council /Medical Council of India at the time of registration for NEET-PG may be debarred from appearing in future examinations.
Test Day Documentary Requirements:
1. Provisional / Permanent Certificate of Registration of MCI/SMC in original (plus a photocopy) 
2. One original & valid ID document namely PAN CARD/Voters Regn. ID Card/Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving License
3. Admit Card with attested photo of candidate.

NEET UG Collges:-


There are about 314 medical colleges in the country. Out of these 144 colleges are being run by State and Central Governments and the remaining 170 colleges are under private managements. Out of these 170, there are about 50 deemed universities.


NEET UG 2013 Dates / Notification:-


Last Date of application: January 15th 2013 12.00 Noon

Issue of Admit Cards: by April 15th 2013
Exam Date: Last Sunday of May


NEET PG 2013:- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) is conducted by Medical Council of India for admission to Medical Post-graduate Courses across the country.


NEET PG 2013 Dates:- The exam shall be held in Jan-Feb 2013.


NEET PG Pattern / Syllabus:-


The multiple choice questions (MCQs) would be based on the MBBS syllabus as well as the knowledge that needs to be acquired during internship which is also described in the said Regulations.


There will be a single paper of 180 questions of 3 hours duration. Each question will carry one mark. There will be negative marking for wrong answer (0.25 marks).

India to roll out common entrance medical exam from 2013

It's now official - the common National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to Under Graduate (UG) will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE) while it will be the National Board of Examination that will conduct the Post Graduate (PG) exams.
India is all set to roll out NEET from 2013-14.
Admission to all postgraduate courses in medical colleges across India from next year will be through a common entrance test to be conducted by National Board of Examination from November 23 to December 6, 2012. 
The test will be applicable for PG seats of all the 350 medical colleges across India, which account for close to 20,000 seats, except the three institutes set up by acts of Parliament AIIMS, PGI Chandigarh and JIPMER, Puducherry. 
The first NEET-PG in 2013-14 will be held online by NBE from November 23 to December 6, 2012 at various centres in 34 cities of the country.
